Mia has hated bathing as long as she has graced us with her presence here on earth. Well, we've discovered why...
SHE HAS TO BE CLOTHED!!! The girl hates to be exposed in any way!
So, last Saturday evening, my mom and I were getting the kids bathed, and dressed and Mia had screamed her way through getting lotioned up and dressed and fingernails trimmed when we had decided to make our way back to the bathroom for some teeth brushing action. I literally reached up to grab her toothbrush as she went to greet Lucas, who was still in the tub. Or wait, I should say not just greet but to meet. She slipped into the tub with her slippery, clothed Mia tub-o-love. Over she went, right into the tub!! She has the funnest time! Not only was she laughing and playing but she proceeded to assist Lucas with the washing process. She felt he actually needed to be scrubbed down with the nail scrubber. Probably true seeing we only bathe our kids twice a week despite the advise and disgust of other wiser friends. (Hee, hee!!) We had to leave her for a moment because it was so unbelievably hilarious and amazing that she was actually enjoying herself in the water!! What a blast!... until it was time to come back out, become exposed again to turn around and get re-dressed! What a sight!
