Elijah is 8! As a parent, and my oldest approached that age of accountability, wow, did it ever make me go through my parenting and lack-thereof, over the past 8 years. I'm thinking and thinking, did I get it all it? Did I get it mostly in? Did I do OK? Will he do OK? And, it really makes me feel old! As his baptism approached, we had some sweet opportunities to sit as a family had have great discussion about what this all means, and the importance of this life decision. He had a few things to work through, but, in the end, blew us all away with his stalwart view and dignity in making the decision to be baptized. The amount of people that came to support him on this special daywasawe inspiring. Thank you to all who came!
