Grandma Darlene's birthday was just the weekend before Luc's, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Grandma Darlene!!
A little tub action for miss Mia.
...this year, since I have a bit more time on my hands, and to save money, I decided to make my own, my very own cute cake for Lukey's 8th birthday. I was so PLEASED how it turned out!!! We did Frankenstein's monster...and I taught myself, with some help from my step-mother, Lisa, how to frost/decorate this crazy cake, while rocking to some Early Jazz!
Pretty darn impressive if I do say so myself!
For his birthday gift, we traded in every bicycle-type thing hanging around our garage so we could get a new bike for him, (and grandparents helped too!)
Happy 8th Birthday our little "Absent-minded Professor!" Love you Luc!
His birthday was also the BIG GAME DAY!! MSU vs U of M... and they lost. Oh, well. It was a good game and the girls and I looked cute rockin' our State Wear.
So, for the kids 8th birthday we have promised this will be the ONE birthday they can do more than just have family/cousins over...and they get to choose. So, Lucas wanted a bounce house and due to the company not having the one we requested, they gave us an obstacle course AND a different bounce house for the SAME PRICE!! It was awesome!!!! The kids had a lot of fun...
...but it wore off and football in the backyard became the "IT" thing to do...I knew it would come to this so I had the guys put the bounce house/obstacle course as close to the house and out of the way of the possible football field. I am sure glad we did that! Those boys had a lot of fun!
...the girlies hanging out in Mia's room...
Birthday Cake time...I can NOT wait to try a bite!!
Happy 8th birthday our sweet Luc, now the age of accountability. Love ya!!
Present time!!
He had a choice of 8 friends he could invite as well as the cousins...he made some really sweet choices. I am please of the choice of friends he is making and look forward to seeing him growing up with these strong young boys.
Cousin's for life!
Buds!
...girlies playing dress up!
...and Carmen!
When I get a little stressed, or after a very busy weekend, and with family in town, the super-goofy side comes out sometimes, more rare than when I was in my twenties... and even more rare than before I was married...beware, if you don't know me well enough, you might be quite alarmed...this is the true Tiffany showing herself...
